As with all intercooler hard-pipe kits, the stock plastic pipes to and from the intercooler are replaced with solid pipes to eliminate distortion under boost. But the devil is in the details, and that is where similarities end. The 2JR V2 MR16DDT Hard-Pipe Kit consists of mandrel pipes made from aluminum tubing on both the cold side and hot side of the intercooler. The results are hard pipes from the turbo outlet to intercooler inlet and from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body, without unsightly mid-pipe silicone hose couplings that can disrupt flow or potentially blow off under boost. The hot and cold pipe diameters are increased from the stock 2.5" and 2.25", enhancing flow even further. We used custom 2.6" couplers to fit over the OEM intercooler and Throttle Body so no special attachment was required.

Piping is available in polished, wrinkle red or black. Includes both Hot and Cold side piping, couplers and clamps. Hot side piping now comes with thicker flanges at the turbo and welded inside so the OEM nut fits flush and flat for a tight seal.

Simple install in 1hour with hand tools.
