2JR Chromoly l/w flywheel
2JR introduces an American Made lightweight steel flywheel (ST) is recommended for all QR25 clutch kits. Perfect flywheel for upgrading over the massively heavy OEM dual mass flywheel which is prone to split apart and break. Recommended for naturally aspirated and or street driven applications. This flywheel preserves low end torque and drivability. Well suited for our Stage II, III, and IV clutch kits. Direct bolt on and fits OEM size clutches (9.25" disk and 2JR clutches with 9.5" disks). Stock Flywheel is 28lbs. Saves 14lbs!

Huge improvement over stockPaired this with 2J's stage 2 clutch kit, lightweight pulleys and knife edged crank and the car is quite noticeably more rev happy, the heavy stock flywheel weighs almost twice what this one weighs, so you can imagine what a difference this makes when you put your foot down, car really wants to go now, you will lose revs quicker than you did with stock, but that's to be expected with a lighter flywheel, still, at this weight, this is very streetable and even a reasonable upgrade for a daily driver.
I didn't actually install it myself, so can't speak for how the installation process went, Joe and the crew at 2J put it on my engine when i was having it built at their shop, but if youre doing a clutch already, I highly recommend, quite an improvement over the heavy heavy heavy stock flywheel.Posted on

Very responsiveIve had this install for approx. 5 months and I am greatly satisfied.
I had to replace the clutch for my 03' with 150k miles and I figured I may as well get a flywheel as well. both the old clutch and flywheel had endless spots. After finally installing the 2JR flywheel and new OE clutch, the motor revs so much more quickly. The car was saying "THANK YOU! SURE THAT HEAVY FLYWHEEL!" after installation.
I also paired this with a 2jr pulley kit and you sure will have a smile on you will appreciate every moment you made your decision. Im an auto technician, I service cars day&night. Most cars I've dealt with and test driven were not nearly an enjoyable experience compared to driving my car.
For the people weary over fuel efficiency, this install DOES NOT affect for gas mileage at all. Granted your car will be more Rev happy but it does not affect your gas mileage.

Very NiceSince i had it installed with the 2jr stage 2 clutch i have felt a huge difference revs up way quicker and the grab of the clutch is so intense with this flywheel im so happy i added this upgrade to my SpecV
