All other intakes place the air filter behind the stock fans to pull in heat directly into the engine (after being heated again by the compression of the turbo). 2JR places the filter inside the cowl, where it only receives cold air from beneath the windshield. NOTE - recommended for racing purposes as this intake IS LOUD. Extremely loud inside the car. You may use it on the street, but you will be listening to induction noise whenever you step on the gas.
