TEIN engineers have spent many hours developing new seals and internal components to improve durability and product life. This was one of our major goals for the new model.
Newly developed “ZT” coating for improved durability and hassle-free ride height adjustment. TEIN developed this coating in-house after stringent test and analysis procedures. Our engineers tested different coats, application methods, cleaning processes, etc… in our own brine salt water testing machine which simulates heavy solvents/ road salts used in cold weather climates.
Slip-fit threaded adjustment tube. Allows for damper body and threaded sleeve to be thoroughly coated for rust/ corrosion protection.
The slip-fit allows a more thorough coating on the threaded section as well as powder coated damper body.
Revised Aluminum Spring Seat and Delrin Thrust Washer are light weight and durable. This combination allows for smooth ride height adjustment. The new spring seats have a larger contact surface area and eliminate the need for a rubber spring seat.

NOTE! YOU MUST TRIM THE FRONT OF THE LCA TO CLEAR THE ROTOR WHEN USING THE RCK with Brembo OEM Brakes. 1mm-2mm of CLEARANCE REQUIRED! Our kit is designed to raise the front roll-center geometry by using specially engineered ball-joints in combination with our 2JR Bump Steer Kit Tie Rod Ends while still maintaining original steering geometry. Sentra McPherson front roll geometry gets worse and worse the lower you go with your B15. Coilovers, sway bars and our LCAs help but dont fix the problem. Our testing proved that raising the front roll-center resulted in a substantial increase to front roll resistance and a huge reduction in suspension compression of the outside front wheel during cornering (less roll). This improves weight distribution & maintains a better camber angle which ultimately improves front grip. The overall outcome is significantly reduced understeer through reduced front wheel compression as well as improved steering precision & vehicle stability. The 2JR RCK MUST be used with our UPGRADED BUMP STEER KIT. So the steering tie rod angle matches the lower control arm angle. Easily accomplished with our spacers included in the Bump Steer Kit. This is a true racing wheel stud with rounded ends for wheel changes without damaging the threads. It also allows you to set your lug nuts on the studs for quick install with an impact gun. All the specs were designed with the GTR in mind, thread length, strength, material and longevity. These aren't black, zinc coated studs that quickly rust.
