2JR introduces the world's first and only cowl induction intake for your Focus ST. Most intakes place the air filter behind the stock fans to pull heated air directly into the engine (after being heated again by the compression of the turbo). 2JR places the filter inside the cowl, where it only receives ambient cold air from beneath the windshield - in a very high pressure area (another benefit). NOTE - this intake IS LOUD. To us tho, it sounds amazing. Please refer to the "production photos" listed to the left of the final version of the intake.

You will lose your sound symposer - you do not need a block off plate (you can just remove the tube). The 2JR Cowl intake does include the provision for the EVAP hardline. Its completely plug and play - the OEM hardline clips in to our machined fitting - we have an extension hose that connects to the cowl intake. Same for the IAT sensor - instead of the silly grommet ours is a machined fitting the sensor rotates into - just like stock. So it'll never come lose or leak.

We have not tested the intake on a Focus RS yet - but we are open to having someone assist!

- Install time - 2 hours. A tune is not required.
- In testing we saw ambient or just a deg or two below ambient during cruising and slight increases under heavy load.
- To install you will need to cut the lower plastic housing under the cowl (very easy) and the upper cowl vent panel (we will provide a template for the vent panel) - you will also need to extend your IAT wires (2 of them) by 36" or purchase the optional JMS IAT Extension. All other hoses, clamps and K&N Air Filter are included in the kit.
- Made in the USA for perfect fitment and quality.


NOTE: The intake filter sits suspended in the cowl (not resting on the floor). The was done to prevent any water from being pulled in the intake that may build up on the cowl floor. We do recommend the optional KN filter sock to help keep the filter extra dry - as the piping turns down very close the the plastic upper cowl seal at the windshield. For added security you could trim the upper cowl to act as a bit of flashing to help offset any water intrusion. In testing, we didnt incur any issues during heavy rains - but you should always maintain the highest precaution against this occurring in your neck of the woods.

ANOTHER NOTE: The intake does not fit the TB Performance Strut Tower Brace - refer to the picture showing the intake going over the brace. If you have the TB STB, you can still use the intake but you will need to fab up a method to secure it (since you lose the stock mounting position) - and trimming/cutting your cowl will occur in a different location as well. In short - yes it can work, but you will have to be handy to get it all together nicely. Its not a direct bolt in if you have this brace.

FINAL NOTE: JMS made for us the IAT extension harness. If you dont want to add 36" to your stock IAT harness (2 wires need to be extended) add this JMS harness in the options. Makes for a painless install. We also recommend the KN Dry filter Sock to help keep it dry.

NOTE - recommended for racing purposes as this intake IS LOUD. Extremely loud inside the car. You may use it on the street, but you will be listening to induction noise whenever you step on the gas. Install time - 2 hours. A tune is not required. To install you will need to cut the lower plastic housing, the upper cowl vent (we provide a template on the vent) AND extend your IAT wires. All other hoses, clamps and K&N filter are included in the kit. Made in the USA for perfect fitment and quality.
