Nismo-style short throw billet shifter (STS) for the 2002-2006 Sentra B15 and 2002-2003 Altima/Maxima. Reduces throw by 30% without causing stress on the shifter cables which can lead to breakage. Provides a more direct, positive shift for each gear. Downside is a slight "tink" when shifting due to the billet shifter assembly. Excellent upgrade for your Nissan, especially when paired with 2JR's delrin Shifter Bushings

The STS can used on stock Nissan shifter bushings or with 2JR's delrin shifter bushings as a combo kit. CNC'd from delrin. Replaces factory rubber bushings on the transmission with solid bushings for a more direct and crisp shift. These are the best bushings 2JR has ever produced. They will never wear out, never need grease, and never absorb water and corrode. Includes Interior and Transmission Bushings (6 pieces)

Short throw shifter, and Turcite bushings for 2002 Altima 2.5, five speed manual.

I have a 2002 Altima 2.5, with the 5 speed manual, and as stated the short throw shifter fits, and works great, along with the turcite bushings which fit equally as well.

Super quick install and amazingly short shifts!!!

Bottom line, this shortens the shifts immensely!!! Makes gear changes like shifting from your current odd gears to neutral, except you're shifting from one gear to the next! AMAZING! For the price, you must add this to your car!

2J Short shifter excellence!

you will love this shifter to death! the shifts are short, and crisp! dont pop out of gear when youre at the drag strip and it never struggles to go into gears like the other short shifters do. Its a quick and painless install and is/was cheaper than the TWM short shifter. with the pre-order price you could get both the bushings and this shifter for the same price as the TWM alone. Plus its always good supporting the vendors who make amazing aftermarket performance parts for our platform. Lets face it.. without 2J atleast 1 or more items you have right now wouldnt be installed in your car and you damn sure wouldnt pay as little as joe makes these for. Quality, Performance, and the pride of ownership that joe brings to the table is unparalleled. This product gives accuracy when you need it and is dependable! hope that is enough reasons to buy this.
