- had the pump in the car for 2 weeks when it says direct fit is a direct fit it was just a matter of take out the old one and poping the new one. If you want to upgrade your car or VQ swap the car. I'm sure this pump and hold up to the VQ engine. (Posted on 2/14/2017)
