Got this a long time ago and i like the big boost in power but i feel it could fit a little better. There is a few places its rubbed holes into my hood and the back part definitely rubs the strut bar.
Overall a good mod but be prepared to finese it to live without rattles. (2JR Comment - this is correct, the B15 STB must be flexed upwards in the middle to clear the larger B16 composite plenum, then it fits nicely) (Posted on 11/5/2022) - Very Nice! Review by Foust04SpecV

All in all I have to say this is a very nice mod.
Yes a couple of studs would have made for a slightly easier install but everything considered I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. I cannot confirm how much power is gained but there is a felt difference from behind the wheel. The install instructions do not appear to be online anymore but a quick phone call solved the only two issues I ran into. I'm sad to say I cannot remember her name but a very nice young woman answered the phone and connected me to Joe who was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I caught it on sale and I would recommend waiting for it to go on sale. It is nice but I think the sale price really is and probably should be the price it sells for. - Want to say thanks! Plenum made a drastic difference very easy install no cel or anything didn't even have to do a pedal dance. header fit wonderfully I used to have really bad drone and it quieted it down and smooth it out. feels like a completely different car. Put this off for far to long. Worth, every penny. Your throttle response will be faster then a vietmanese prostitute sucking off Chuck Norris while fighting Jason Statham while filming Crank. Yes, that fast. Love the work Joe. Truly, a must have with boost or n/a Qr25de.

- Never got around to writing my review, installed acouple years ago with the 2j cai. I love it and still going strong two years later. Great mid range power. Great for anyone trying to get more power out of their b15. Installation isn't to bad, just follow the form off b15u and take ur time. Thank you for a great product!!! (Posted on 10/18/2016)

- I installed the plenum on my '05 spec v about a week ago. There is a difference in throttle response but I personally don't believe it adds 25whp but it definitely makes a difference. The design could be a little better to not hit the strut bar and i wish it wasn't such a pain to install with all the loose bolts (would prefer a couple studs in the head). I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone for the normal pricing on here but definitely if its on sale and you have the extra money why not, but its not a must need part by any means. - I've had this on for a week so far and it's treating me very well. I have basic boltons and acceleration is smooth but stronger and slightly louder than before. Took me about 6 hours but I was taking my time and I'm not a mechanic. No codes but make sure to NOT mount the VAIS to the firewall or you will hear ticking noises while accelerating as stated in forums. I mounted the bracket on the plenum near the TB and works just fine. I have to adjust and shift harder because I've missed getting in gear a few times with the new power. Definitely recommend this upgrade! Joe even called me to make sure I have the TB spacer for clearance and fitment issues and I've glad he did because it is perfect with my Nismo CAI.
