had done bolt on's for the most part, on the car at the time it was consuming too much gas for the output and so i sent it to get reflashed. well worth the wait, the car feels even more torquie, and with the higher limiter gears feel way longer plus i get a nice pop when letting off the gas. yes i'm in the process of doing the o2 censor spacer. but even so i am more than happy with the reflash i definitely look forward to sending it in again after doing internals to the engine. I had my 2008 Spec-V for a year, and heard about getting it "Tuned" I went to 2J and talked to Joe about it, and I was on the dyno 20 minutes later. It will make you love your car even more and it will turn it into an animal. He tuned my car for my driving style, and gave me more power and better gas mileage...It's a true win/win situation. I'm at 201whp/190 torque naturally aspirated with stock internals, and getting 35mpg on the hwy. I've recently also picked up the Uprev cable so now he can tweak my tune via email. Best modification I've ever done, and that's saying a lot based on all the things I have from 2J. (Posted on 11/25/2016)

I drive an '08 Spec-V, I was driving through Georgia and decided to drop by the 2J shop to pick up a shift knob and ended up talking to Joe and getting my car tuned on the dyno. WOW!!!! Impeccable hands on service, Joe took the time to show me everything he was doing to my car through the whole process. And HOLY COW! can he unlock the power of the car. My car is bone stock save for his pulley, he got me to 187 whp!!! and found power throughout the whole rev range, and added 15 lb. ft. of torque!! The 5 maps are incredibly handy and so easy to use, the MPG map returned 37 mpg on a 150 mile trip, and the performance map makes it pull like a monster! Badass dont hesitate whether or not to get this get it! Best mod for your buck makes your spec v feel like it has been unleashed , rpms jump off the cluster as soon as you punch it. Definitely butt dyno can imply a HUGE gain in wheel horsepower and torque. You can choose your own 5 maps and that is more than enough especially for the price.
