BC Racing Custom Spec'd Coilovers

Product Review (submitted on December 23, 2016):
If you are new to adjustable coilovers, or are just browsing seeking upgrades, you've came to the right place. With proper installation and instructions followed up by careful adjustments you can transform your b15's suspension into a track-grade grippy responsive beast. I was able to get enough information online and on the forums (B15U represent) to methodically adjust these bad boys to my liking. I was new to adjustable coilovers because I was always too BDSO to afford a decent upgrade when I was young. Now that I'm a bearding man I know that you get what you pay for and it is ever-so-true when It comes to quality suspension parts.

I would recommend anyone who installs these to follow the same torque specifications from the FSM for the mounting/installation. Out of the box I would assume they may or may not be preloaded, so after installation I recommend doing the preload (5mm) and adjust the ride height by the space between the threads and the spanner nuts. I found 65mm rear 40mm front to be a good place to start (not too low, but... low..). You can verify your adjustments or height by measuring the distance from mid-fender to the ground (like FSM) or from the center cap to the center fender well. Depending on many variables it could take a long time to finally get your perfect height/response adjustments.

After I completed my adjustments and got an alignment (custom shop) I explored the performance of these bad boys. It grips the road and controls harsh road conditions, and not the other way around. The ride can be as track-oriented or comforting as you desire with the damper adjustment knobs, and modifiable preload (usually 4~5mm). Camber plates allow significant adjustments to front camber if you want. QT Links and ALK mod highly recommended.

I'd also like to mention, why stop here? There are many many upgrades to your b15's suspension such as bushing kits, ALK (very good mod), QT link, whiteline, swaybar, roll center correction bump-steer kit. So don't be afraid to go all the way when it comes to upgrades here. Thanks Joe, and 2J team! And all from B15 Universe!
