Mishimoto 2013-Current Ford Focus ST Gold Intercooler w/ Polished Pipes
$1,030.95It's time to make your cool off your hot-hatch with the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit for the 2013+ Ford Focus ST. Ford released their 2.0T EcoBoost powered Focus boasting the perfect combination of performance and practicality, however the intercooling system left something to be desired. While the piping did feature sections of aluminum, the restrictive diameter, not to mention the turbo muffler put a damper on the Focus ST?s performance potential. We?ve replaced the hot-side pipe with mandrel-bent aluminum, both ditching the muffler and also opening up the diameter to allow a 26% better flow through the hot-side. All of the degradation-prone rubber has also been swapped for wire-reinforced silicone ensuring a long lasting connection on the hot-side, but also a soother flow through the cold-side pipe. Together the Focus ST Intercooler Pipe kit grants a 21% increase in flow to and from the intercooler. The piping isn?t the only part of this kit that increases flow, the bar-and-plate construction opens up air channels within the core allowing for the charged air to pass through more freely than the stock intercooler core. This upgraded all aluminum construction also aids in heat dissipation, warding off the dreaded heat-soak under demanding driving conditions, and delivering properly cooled air through the ST?s intake manifold. The Focus ST Performance Intercooler Kit will also add 8 HP and 10 TQ to your power band and has a maximum horsepower rating of 550HP. 2JR does it once again with their custom built side exit for the Fiesta ST. We've built this exhaust for the best performance, sound and weight savings possible over any exhaust on the market. Made from 4mm thick 304 Stainless Steel for long life, corrosion resistance and strength in the harshest track environment. Next we've added steel encased rubber hangers that bolt to the chassis at stock location points for a perfectly tight fit centered on the sill opening - this allows for no burning of the sill. Then we use an oval stainless tail section for ground clearance over the pinch weld. For the keeping this completely street legal for sound, 2JR uses a large free flowing stainless resonator to designed to keep the exhaust tone completely tame (even with a catless downpipe) while keeping backpressure at an absolute minimum. Lastly - and most importantly, is the weight savings. Lighter than any other widely used system on the market with approx. 35% less piping and weight. Will bolt to the stock downpipe or the 2JR downpipe (or any other aftermarket production downpipe). NOTE: you will need to trim the pinch weld in a 4" section using a die grinder or similar.
