This is by far the best and economic mod for the QG, even in automatic QG like mine, I also turned on the A/C, just to see if the car bogged down but no.

I installed this onto a older GA16DE in a 200SX when replacing the front seal and noted that the OEM pulley rubber was starting to age crack. The OEM cost to replace is nearly double and over 2x the weight alone.
Back when the QG first came out, racing mags and other places found that GA pulley works as a direct bolt up (with a belt change).
Even the front seals are the same OEM part number interchange.
That being said, I had to change my PS and WP belt to the next size up, Gates #K040325. K040320 is too short, while K040330 is too long for reference.

The change is subtle but noticeable, and well worth the cost.

I was getting a bunch of stuff done so I thought I might as well add this. I'm so glad I did! this thing makes my car pull much harder and faster than before. I don't notice the A/C bog the engine down as much, or at all, when I turn it on and I can go up hills without much issue now. Performance-wise, there is a real difference between this pulley and the OEM. I drive a 5-speed with a lightweight flywheel and the 2JR pulley compliments it very, very well. For a 1.8 that is not meant to be a high-performance engine, it pulled pretty hard and fast on first and second, but I was really impressed with how third gear pulled. It just became alive. I also turned on the A/C, just to see if the car bogged down, and I never noticed it activate. I could hear it, just not feel it like before. Overall, the pulley has excellent fit and finish, and it definitely does the job very well. (Posted on 1/29/2012)
